Taken from our cellar and consumed with traditional roast lamb and vegetables, mint sauce and gravy, a match made in heaven.

The colour is deep rich red with a good tinge of brick. The nose is a delight with cigar box, chocolate, sweet blackcurrent fruit and lovely dusty oak. Some pepper also, and there is a great balance developing from its time in bottle.

The palate has medium weight with excellent integration of fruit and oak. The usual overt Aussie fruit is subdued and there is a spicy and long finish with that great sweet oak to finish it off.

The wine is still fresh as a daisy, full of life, and really well integrated. A pleasure to drink a lovely wine like this with some age on it, and a joy with food.
