Huntington Estate is now owned by Abercorn and I understand has access to expanded areas of vines. We can all only hope that the supreme integrity and quality of these wines will be maintained.
Deep rich ruby red colour and a nose of earth, chocolate and licorice set up for just another appealing wine from Huntington Estate.
The palate has a perfect balance of chocolate, sweet plummy fruit, integrated soft white pepper spice and a pleasantly warm and long finish.
Cellaring recommendations for these wines is generally up to 10 years, however the lovely thing about Huntington Estate wines is that on one hand they will probably live for many more than 10 years while still being completely approachable right now.
