2004 Scotchmans Hill Geelong Pinot Noir

A delightful Pinot among the many fine wines that come from this region.
The colour is light cherry but the nose is dark cherry with some gamey meaty
notes, and a little earthy complexity.
Palate shows soft spices and some well integrated sweet oak. It’s light to medium bodied with some more of those gamey and dark cherry characters. Alcohol is 13.5% and the wine should live happily in the cellar for the next five to six years.
