“Cape Jaffa, the South Australian winery and vineyard, has joined the growing list of Australian wine producers using biodynamic practices in the vineyards. The entire vineyard has been certified biodynamic, and the winery organic, by Australian Certified Organic.

Cape Jaffa, established in the Mount Benson region by the Hooper family in 1993, is one of a small number in the state to achieve this status. A certified line of wines will be released later this year. General manager Derek Hooper says: ‘A lot of overseas markets don’t allow products to be labeled or marketed as organic or biodynamic unless they are certified and it’s likely that Australia will follow suit and tighten regulations sooner rather than later.’ “
