This South Australian shiraz was the winner of the 2006 Wine Press Club Trophy for best dry red wine at the recent Sydney Royal Wine Show. I haven’t yet tried it but present herewith Huon Hooke’s comments from today’s Sydney Morning Herald Good Living section:

“Lovely ripe sweet berry and spicy aromas; very intense palate, nicely conceentrated fuit, impeccably clean, fine oak balance, elegant weight and terrific length. Can be cellared at least 15 years.”
