This cabernet appears to be a bargain, well-rated by Ralph Kyte-Powell in SMH Good Living 29/5/07.

Red Knot is the “fightin’ label” of McLaren Vale winery Shingleback, slugging it out with the competition in the $15 category. It stand up to its opponents well, with its juicy black-fruit aromas and medium intensity, with a dusty, savoury touch, easy structure and intense flavour. Great value.

Drink over a year or two.
