Yering Station Shiraz Viognier 2003

Yarra Valley, Victoria

The ‘o3 Yering Station Shiraz Viognier displays a nose that is a little unevolved. Perhaps it will develop more with another 12 months bottle age. There are some appealing spicy and plummy notes with floral overtones and restrained use of the viognier gives good balance.

The palate shows spice and white pepper, fine tannins, blackberries. The viognier is subdued on the palate and there is good length. This is a great wine for a second label.
